braille ''n speaks, computers and... keyboards?

hi. Just a nonsence question. Why does the braille 'n speak fail? I mean, its working just fine, but sometimes it freeces and you must re-set it, or sometimes you even have to reformat it, same with computers. Why do keyboards... like Yamaha never do there things? they work better... somehow. I think its for just making money they do that...

Hmmm, good question, lou. I just don't know. One time, my Braillen Lite's Speech wasn't working, and it stayed that way for a few days and then came back, and it's been doing this on and off thing all year. What happens is that the words "speech on" appear on the display, but there is no speech? What's wrongf with it?

SRC, I have no idea why your Braille Lyte's doing that? Call tech support maybe, I dunno. My BN did that once, but I just reset it and it was fine. So try resetting it, when it does that. Hope this helps.

Throw them in the bin and get a braille note or voice note from good old Pulsedata, or even the Pacmate which I'm told resembles more a weapon of mass-destruction rather than a notetaker.
